- Facilitate programs and deliver sessions, including school activities, in a fun and inclusive way
- Support facilitation of WRLA’s Play Well and Rolling Regions projects and associated activities

We currently have a range of exciting opportunities for Game Development Officers to join the NRL Wheelchair team, based in varied locations throughout Australia!
As an NRL Wheelchair Game Development Officer you will contribute directly to a number of key initiatives of WRLA’s Game Plan including Growing participation at all levels; Growing our fan base; Achieving deeper engagement and delivering community outcomes.
Success profile:
The successful candidate for these roles will be self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic about Wheelchair Rugby League and have the ability to engage with small and large groups in a fun and positive way. You will be passionate about making a positive difference to people’s lives and will share NRL Wheelchairs beliefs; Inclusive, Professional, Respectful, Empowering and Entertaining.
You will ideally have relevant, or working towards, tertiary qualifications combined with experience in the sports industry.
These proactive roles will suit applicants with a background in Education, Junior Rugby League coaching, Disability Sports, and/or experience in program development and facilitation.
Other key criteria include:
- Project/event management and facilitation experience (desired)
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office)
- Highly effective communication and relationship building skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications combined with experience in the sports industry
- Disability awareness and experience in disability/disability sport settings
- Drivers’ Licence essential
- Current Working with Children credentials for paid work
- Experience working with children
- Adaptable with the ability to work independently

- Drivers Licence
Desirable Criteria
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Sports Management / Business Degree
