Cocoon SDA Care’s positive, long-standing relationship with NRL Wheelchair continues to evolve with the recent announcement of the community organisation’s naming rights sponsorship for the 2024 Wheelchair State Challenge.

The Cocoon SDA Care Wheelchair State Challenge will be held in Brisbane Saturday 13th July 2024. Cocoon has previously supported the Wheelaroos at the 2022 Rugby League World Cup and has contributed to the continued growth and success of the NRL Wheelchair organisation. Their efforts have greatly contributed to the sport’s development, creating more opportunities for people to engage in this inclusive form of wheelchair rugby league.

This new partnership underscores Cocoon’s ongoing commitment to promoting inclusivity and excellence in sports for athletes with disabilities.

Joseph Chidiac, Director of Wheelchair Rugby League Australia, expressed gratitude for Cocoon’s ongoing support, noting, “Cocoon SDA Care’s partnership is invaluable to our sport. Their ongoing commitment provides essential resources for our athletes and aligns perfectly with the plans and objectives of our organisation. We are thrilled to have them join as naming rights sponsors for the 2024 State Challenge and look forward to a fantastic event.”

The NRL Wheelchair Rugby League State Challenge 2024 promises to be an exciting showcase of talent, determination, and sportsmanship, further cementing the importance of inclusive sports in Australia.
