Canberra Region Wheelchair Rugby League (CRWRL) are the governing body for NRL Wheelchair for Canberra and the surrounding regions. Established in 2020, CRWRL are looking to run their first competition within the next coming weeks. We are also looking to establish a representative team to play in a curtain raiser game before the Country v City game held in Shellharbour In May.

The vision of CRWRL is to be recognised as an all-inclusive sport for all communities and to provide a pathway for participants to represent their state in wheelchair rugby league. This game can be played by everyone; younger or older, male or female, a regular wheelchair user or able bodied.

During 2021 we will be running two competitions, in the Autumn season and Spring season, with a format of six rounds (inclusive of finals) played on Sundays afternoons on a fortnightly basis. We are looking to create as many teams as possible, as this sport is for all ages, genders and abilities.
