Wheelchair Rugby League Australia is pleased to announce that Robyn Mortimer is joining the team as Program Co-ordinator for the All Abilities Training Program.  The project will be rolled out following the organisation’s success as a grant recipient under the NSW Government’s Volunteering Diversity and Inclusion Grants Program.

Robyn brings a great deal of knowledge to the team. A former Victorian NRL Wheelchair Participation Officer, she has been closely involved with our sport through the Come, Try N Play program.

She also has a considerable background in Australian sports governance. She has been a member of the Archery Victoria board member for five years, including two years as CFO and a member of the Victorian Amateur Fencing Association board. She holds coaching and referee/judging qualifications across a variety of sports.

Robyn has a particular interest in sports governance and was involved in the Women in Sports Program in 2022, where she also completed the AICD Foundation Training to deepen her knowledge in this area.

The role of Program Co-ordinator for the All Abilities Training Program at Wheelchair Rugby League will also allow her to draw on her decades working in school education and training.

Further details about the All Abilities Training Program will be released shortly.
