The countdown is on for one of the biggest events on the Wheelchair Rugby League calendar — the 2026 LCA NRL Wheelchair Championship.

From 10–12 July 2026, the best Wheelchair Rugby League athletes from across Australia and New Zealand will roll into the Gold Coast to battle for championship glory at the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre.

The Championship will feature representative teams from:

  • South East Queensland & Central Queensland
  • North Queensland

  • Affiliated States (NT, SA & WA)
  • New Zealand

This year’s Championship carries extra significance as it serves as a major selection event for the Australian Wheelaroos ahead of the 2026 Rugby League World Cup.
