Play your part and sign up for our free volunteer training induction event!
Are you passionate about sports and looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the world of Wheelchair Rugby League while building new skills?
NRL Wheelchair invites you to our Volunteer Program online induction event!
This exclusive online event is designed to equip both new and existing volunteers with all the necessary information about the wide variety of volunteering opportunities available within the Wheelchair Rugby League.
Explore your interest and learn new skills
Whether your interest lies in Coaching, Refereeing, Sports Medicine/First Aid, or Administration, we have a role that matches your skills and passion.
The induction will also outline the essential requirements for volunteers and introduce you to the varied roles and pathways you can explore. It’s your chance to learn directly from the experts and become a part of a vibrant community dedicated to making a difference.
Special guests and breakout rooms
You’ll also get the unique opportunity to meet and interact with our mentors, including Brett Clarke, the well-known Wheelaroos Coach, and Steve Hewson, a celebrated RLWC Referee. Other notable figures will be announced soon. These mentors will lead Q&A sessions in dedicated break-out rooms, offering personalised guidance and sharing insights from their own experiences in the field.
This is more than just an induction; it’s a gateway to networking with relevant community contacts, getting assigned a mentor, and stepping confidently into a role that suits your interests and skills. Whether you’re looking to contribute your time, share your expertise, or simply learn more about the sport, this event is the perfect starting point!
Mark your calendars and join us for a fun and engaging experience. Together, let’s drive the success of Wheelchair Rugby League to new heights.
