Last Friday, Leagues Clubs Australia’s CEO Don Hammond handed over the keys to a brand new $60,000 Toyota Hi Ace Van to Wheelchair Rugby League Australia (WRLA) at Menai Indoor Sports Centre – home of Southern Sydney Wheelchair Rugby League.
WRLA Board Members Paul Moujalli and Joseph Chidiac, Participation Program Manager Ben Cheeseman, President of NSW Push and Power Rugby League Ralph Hasna, and NSW players Dan and Thomas Friedrich and Liam Moar were present at the event.
The van will be used to transport the WRLA trailer and equipment and to carry players to games and events all around New South Wales. It will also be used as required interstate and to transport equipment for the Sporting Schools Program.
We are grateful to Leagues Clubs Australia for their valued donation, and we look forward to continuing our partnership for many years to come.
