Wheelaroos Honoured at Queensland Parliament Ahead of Ashes Test Series
In a proud moment for Australian Wheelchair Rugby League, the Wheelaroos were officially presented with their playing jerseys at Queensland Parliament House ahead of the highly anticipated Ashes Test Series against England.
The presentation ceremony was hosted by Minister Tim Mander MP, who welcomed the team and acknowledged their dedication and achievements in the sport. Wheelchair Rugby League Australia CEO, Anna Fitzgerald, also presented the Jersey to the team. The event marked a significant milestone for the Wheelaroos as they prepare to face England, the reigning Ashes champions, in a fast-paced and tactically intense series kicking off this Thursday on the Gold Coast.
