Expressions of Interest Now Open: LCA NRL Wheelchair Championship Match Officials
We’re thrilled to announce that planning is well underway for the upcoming Wheelchair Rugby League National Championships, and we’re now inviting match officials to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to be part of this exciting event as a Match Official!
Event Details
- You will need to be available: Thursday 30th October – Sunday 2nd November, 2025
- Be able to make your way to the Location: Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre – 296 Nerang Broadbeach Road, Carrara QLD
- Open to Officiating Multiple Divisions: Open, Youth, Mixed Ability (subject to confirmation)

By getting involved, you’ll be helping us grow the sport of Wheelchair Rugby League across Australia. We’re committed to building capability by increasing the number of qualified match officials and creating more opportunities for participation at all levels.
To support this, we’ve launched a new online education platform that makes it easier than ever to access officiating qualifications. This platform provides flexible, accessible training to help you get accredited and confidently officiate matches.

Training & Accreditation
All selected officials will be required to complete the Wheelchair Rugby League Match Official’s Course.
This newly created course is delivered online at your own pace and will be provided free of charge. Further details will be shared upon receipt of your EOI.
