The New South Wales Blues will head north to Townville this July for the upcoming 2022 Wheelchair Rugby League State of Origin Fixture.

The eagerly awaited match-up will see the Construction Science Queensland Maroons defending their 50-30 victory from the postponed 2021 clash held in Sydney in January.

The representative level game will be held on Saturday 23 July at Townsville’s Murry Sports Complex, with a 4:15 pm kick-off.

Several events are planned around the game, including a Fundraising Sportsman’s Dinner featuring guest speakers Paul Bowman and Wheelaroos Coach Brett Clark. The event will be held at Kirwan Sports Club on Friday 22 July, with funds to support the Wheelaroos World Cup Campaign.
