The Queensland Wheelchair Rugby League (QWcRL) Interim Management Committee is pleased to announce Foxville Projects Group have signed as a key corporate partner in 2021.
Thanks to the Foxville Projects Group partnership and generous investment, the Foxville State Cup will be held on 15 May 2021. The signing also means that the Foxville Queenslanders will take the the court for the 2021 Wheelchair Rugby League State of Origin Series.
David Nugent, QWcRL Interim Management Committee Chair, believes this new relationship will bring opportunities for developing the game of Wheelchair Rugby League in Queensland.
In welcoming the new partnership, David Nugent highlighted the benefits that the Foxville Projects Group support will provide for players, administrators, and volunteers, saying, “This partnership is the beginning of a new dawn for our game and continues the hard work of our volunteers who for many years have driven the importance of developing grassroots competitions, enhancing representative pathways and investing in growing participation across all levels of the game.
The scale of investment by a company like Foxville Projects will allow these elements of our planning to go to the next level.
“We will be able to invest in regular competitions within Qld regions, improved coaching and equipment and explore technological advancements that can drive greater participation and enjoyment for our players and volunteers.”
Foxville Projects Group Director George Yan was equally enthusiastic about the QWcRL partnership, commenting, “Foxville has a proud history of investing in its communities, and the partnership with the Queensland Wheelchair Rugby League is a natural extension of the work we are already doing in communities across NSW and Queensland.
