NSWWRL Round 9 Game Report

NSW Wheelchair Rugby League Round 9 was held on Sunday 31/03/2019 at Menai Indoor Sports Stadium.

Tier Two  - Wrap-up 

This weeks game saw the Raiders up against the Sharks in a game that was truly a show of two teams that have developed skills and their team work over the duration of the 2019 season. This game was a entertaining for the whole 50mins, Half time saw the Sharks leading 10-6. After the break the Raiders showed some fight with there younger players breaking the Sharks defensive line to put Canberra in the lead. Throughout the second half it was a wrestle but the Sharks attack circled the Raiders defensive line to cross the line and get their first win of the season leading into the semi-finals next week.

Tier One - Wrap-up 

The Dragons where out to upset the Tigers undefeated 2019 season, and get a win moving into the semi-finals. Both teams started strong but it was the Dragons quick hands that got them on the board early. At the half the Tigers had a slight lead 22-18. The second half had the Tigers attack continue to pounce, but the Dragons weren't going to make things easy. unfortunately the Dragons couldn't keep the pace of the Tigers and as a result Wests were able to claw a good win, and an undefeated regular season.
