At last we are back!
After negotiations with the Sutherland Shire Council and Menai Indoor Sports Centre we have been able to secure time slots for the resumption of the 2020 NSW Wheelchair Rugby League Competitions.
Unfortunately, the time slots we have been allocated are Sunday morning/early afternoon which has ment that we have had to slightly alter some game times and also the game breaks.
The draw for the last 2 rounds of the competition :-
Raiders v Bulldogs @9.10am
Sea Eagles v Sharks @10.00am
Tigers v Eels @11.00am
Dragons v Panthers @12.30pm
Bulldogs v Sharks @9.10am
Raiders v Sea Eagles @10.00am
Panthers v Eels @11.00am
Dragons v Tigers @12.30pm
Once the final makeup of the competitions has been decided we will publish the draw for the semi finals which will take place on the 27th September (same time slot 9am – 2pm).
The finals will be played on Sunday 4th October for which we have a time slot of 9 – 12pm.
Unfortunately, this will mean that we are only able to schedule 2 games :-
· Tier B Winner of Semi Final 1 v Winner of Semi Final 2
· Tier A Winner of Semi Final 1 v Winner of Semi Final 2
Again, times for these matches will be circularised closer to the date.
Although the above scheduling is not ideal and will not suit everyone, I trust that you will understand and continue your involvement in the competition.
If, however you are unable to commit to playing at the above times could you please advise both your team captain and myself?
Finally, a reminder that the previously circularised COVID protocols will be in place for the remaining matches in this year’s competition.
