Wheelchair Rugby League Australia has reached an important milestone and we are looking for a suitably qualified person to help us take our sport to a new level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and leading the development and delivery of all aspects of wheelchair rugby league game development, working closely with NRL Development Officers, Schools, Clubs and State and Community Organisations
- Establishing and leading a multi-state working group to coordinate the training programs and events in accordance with Wheelchair Rugby League Australia’s Program Plan that is aligned to the NRL Game Development Plan
- Promoting an inclusive philosophy throughout the rugby league community to foster awareness, share successful program strategies and provide professional development and training opportunities to upskill personnel
- Establishing partnerships and maintaining relationships with rugby league clubs and community partners to promote awareness, share resources and partner in programs deliver to ensure the ongoing sustainability of new or enhanced competitions and participation opportunities in wheelchair rugby league.

Experience within a sporting environment is key and knowledge of rugby league is preferred but not essential. The successful applicant will hold relevant qualifications or have equivalent sports industry experience.
The role is a part-time, fixed-term contract and will require some flexibility for travel, working evenings and weekends.
