Sharks Training Day

The Cronulla Sharks NRL team hosted their Wheelchair Rugby League counterparts for an exclusive open training session on Tuesday, March 14 at the home of the Cronulla Sharks the Southern Cross Group Stadium (Shark Park).


During the gruelling morning session Wheelchair Rugby League athletes Brett Henman, Stephan Rochecouste, Mitchel Stone and Cherie Moulang experienced training of full time professional athletes with the NRL side, getting up close and personal in the lead up to their clash against the St George Illawara Dragons.


Wheelchair Rugby League athletes were amazed with newly developed technologies and techniques employed to assist the athletes develop. On show were drones, GPS monitors as well as other performance recording equipment.
